How Your Monthly Fee Is Calculated
The $500 minimum is the lowest monthly fee, not an extra charge. At $12,500 in managed monthly collections, 4% equals $500. Above that amount, the 4% calculation determines your fee.
| Monthly payments received | 4% calculation | Monthly fee |
|---|---|---|
| $0 | $0 | $500 |
| $10,000 | $400 | $500 |
| $12,500 | $500 | $500 |
| $20,000 | $800 | $800 |
| $50,000 | $2,000 | $2,000 |

Your Pricing Questions, Answered.
Is the 4% based on what we bill or what we receive?
It is based on insurance and patient payments received on accounts SWIFT BILL manages. For example, if your practice bills $30,000 and receives $20,000 on those accounts, the core billing fee is $800. The $500 monthly minimum still applies when the 4% amount is lower.
Do we pay $500 in addition to the 4%?
No. You pay whichever is higher: 4% of managed collections or $500 per month per practice. For $20,000 in managed collections, your core billing fee is $800, not $1,300.
What if our practice receives no payments that month?
The $500 monthly minimum applies, including months with no collections. This is why the calculator shows $500 when both payment amounts are zero.
Is there a startup fee?
The $450 Billing Launch & Optimization fee is currently waived, making the startup charge $0. Your service agreement will confirm the waiver and agreed onboarding scope.
Do insurance payments go to SWIFT BILL?
Payments go to your practice. SWIFT BILL records payments in the billing system, tracks outstanding claims and charges your practice for the agreed billing services.
How are refunds, payer takebacks and adjustments handled?
Your service agreement defines how refunds, payer takebacks and adjustments affect managed collections and billing fees. The calculator provides a simple estimate and does not apply those account-specific adjustments.
