Services & Support
What we handle, who we help, and how we keep your practice informed.
Who does SWIFT BILL work with?
SWIFT BILL supports ABA practices, independent BCBAs, practice owners, and administrative teams that need help with insurance billing and outstanding claims. We discuss your practice’s needs before recommending a service.
What is included in ongoing ABA billing?
Core services include claim preparation, review and submission; insurance and patient payment posting; denial investigation, appropriate appeals, and payer follow-up; and billing reports with clear next steps.
Your service agreement defines the work included. Credentialing and pre-existing claim recovery are scoped and quoted separately. Explore ABA billing services.
Can you help with denied or unpaid claims?
Yes. For claims within our agreed scope, we review claim history and payer responses, investigate the issue, and pursue the appropriate next step. That may involve a corrected claim, reconsideration, appeal, or additional payer follow-up.
We explain progress and remaining obstacles. Payment depends on factors such as coverage, documentation, payer requirements, and applicable deadlines, so reimbursement cannot be guaranteed.
Do you offer credentialing and payer enrollment?
Yes. We offer separately scoped support with application preparation, documentation coordination, payer follow-up, and status tracking. Payers control their approval decisions and timelines.
Can you review claims left by a previous billing company?
Yes, subject to access to the relevant records. We review aged accounts receivable, previous submissions, payment records, and payer correspondence to identify potential recovery opportunities.
Pre-existing claim recovery is a separate engagement. We agree on the claims, work, and fees before recovery follow-up begins. Explore old claim recovery.
How will I know what is happening with my billing?
We document claim activity and provide updates on billing status, payments posted, unresolved issues, and next steps. Reporting format and frequency are agreed during onboarding.
The goal is straightforward: understand what has happened, what is being worked on, and what still needs attention.
Pricing & Payments
Understand the rate, the monthly minimum, and where payments go.
How much does ongoing ABA billing cost?
Our core billing rate is 4% of insurance and patient payments received on accounts SWIFT BILL manages, with a $500 monthly minimum per practice.
You pay 4% of managed collections or $500, whichever is higher. Credentialing and pre-existing claim recovery are quoted separately. View pricing and calculate your cost.
Is the 4% based on claims billed or payments received?
The percentage is based on payments received, not the amount billed. It includes insurance and patient payments on the accounts we manage.
For example, if your practice bills $20,000 and receives $10,000 in managed collections, 4% is $400. Because that is below the monthly minimum, your core billing fee would be $500.
Does the monthly minimum apply if there are no collections?
Yes. The $500 monthly minimum applies during an active ongoing billing engagement, including months with no collections. It is the minimum total core billing fee, not an additional charge on top of the 4%.
Is there a startup fee?
Our $450 one-time Billing Launch & Optimization fee is currently waived, making the startup charge $0. The ongoing billing rate and monthly minimum still apply.
Does SWIFT BILL receive the insurance payments?
No. Insurance payments go to your practice through its payment arrangements. SWIFT BILL manages billing work and posts payments in the billing system. Our service fee is separate from the funds your practice receives.
Getting Started
A clear first conversation, an agreed scope, and a practical plan.
What happens after I contact SWIFT BILL?
We review your inquiry and follow up to discuss your practice, current billing challenges, and the support you need. We then explain the proposed services, pricing, and next steps so you can decide whether we are a good fit.
Can I switch from another billing company?
Yes. We discuss your existing arrangements, system access, outstanding claims, and proposed handoff before setting a start date. The transition plan defines which claims each party handles to help avoid gaps or duplicate work.
How quickly can billing services begin?
The start date depends on the agreed scope, system access, available records, and any transition work. We establish the onboarding steps and timeline after reviewing your needs.
Will I need to change my billing software?
We review your current billing setup before recommending an arrangement. Compatibility, access, reporting needs, and any software changes or costs are discussed before you commit to services.
What should I include in the contact form?
Share your business contact information, practice name, and a brief description of what you need help with. General details about your billing setup or claim backlog are helpful.
Please do not include patient names, dates of birth, insurance IDs, claim documents, or other patient information. We can discuss an appropriate way to exchange necessary records during onboarding.
